Pittsfield’s 30th Annual Balloon Festival Film

Last Saturday I headed over the Pittsfield Balloon Festival here in NH to spend some time working on my stills and motion convergence skills. I headed over there in order to shoot the Balloon glow at sundown. The small selection of amusements also provided additional video opportunity.

While working on my storytelling skills for future weddings, I will take any opportunity to work with my gear – as in the end I want the gear to be an extension of how I want my scenes to look. In order for that to happen I need to be able to think and see the way I know my cameras and lenses can – and to learn how to manually adjust the options to get the look I want.

Here is a short convergence video that hopefully will give you a good sense of the Pittsfield Balloon festival.
